If your daughter is interested in joining Girl Scouts... The Girl Scout Council (the paid Girl Scout staff in Cincinnati) regularly send flyers through local schools, especially during the spring and the fall, when school starts. Have her ask friends at school. If her friends are involved, you can connect through parents. If a troop leader is not able to take more girls, you can always contact the service unit to help your daughter find a troop -- contact Mary for more information. Parents - think about volunteering!
"Girl Scouting is a membership organization. Girls
join the movement in order to take part in the Girl Scout program.
Adults join to make the Girl Scout program possible and available to
girls. Each adult, regardless of the position she/he holds - volunteer
or paid staff, contributes directly or indirectly to helping girls by
supporting the mission - Girl Scouting builds girls of courage,
confidence, and character, who make the world a better place." In Harrison, we need parent volunteers to be
leaders, assistant leaders, cookie moms/dads, and chaperones. If you are interested in becoming a leader, contact Mary.

| We have an online calendar of events! While we do lots of things as troops, we also have some events that girls can attend without their troop! Ask your leader for the calendar login and password, and see what else Harrison Girl Scouts has planned for you. The calendar can sometimes be temperamental, so give it a few tries please. | The Girl Scout Center:
Girl Scouts of Western Ohio Council Store and Administrative Building Directions: I-275 to Reed Hartman Highway (Exit 47). South on Reed Hartman to Cornell left on Cornell. Go through the light at Kenwood. The Girl Scout Center is the first driveway on the left across from Arby’s. |
